Autumn conditions, with decreasing daylight and temperatures, means the grass will start to slow down its growth. The lawn will still need help with to keep it healthy and green in Autumn; a feed to promote grass root development but not to encourage too much top growth. The mild weather combined with damp conditions and the start of leaf fall can make this time of year ideal for lawn diseases, such as fusarium, to attack the grass.
